WHEELING, Ill. (December 18, 2014) — Priester Aviation, LLC, has earned the highest IS-BAO standard, Stage Three safety certification, as administered by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).
This certification further validates Priester Aviation’s commitment to a rigorous safety culture throughout the company. The Stage Three audit standard is only granted to aviation companies who have demonstrated best-practice safety processes and the ability to make effective safety enhancements to its operations on a continuous basis. Priester Aviation’s safety culture and effectiveness of its Safety Management Systems (SMS) was rigorously audited by on-site IBAC auditors to ensure full adoption of IS-BAO standards.
“The Stage Three certification is held by only an elite group of aircraft operators, and we are honored that our company has achieved this recognition,” said Andy Priester, president and CEO of Priester Aviation. “We consider it a great source of pride that our commitment to safety has been recognized by IBAC, as it demonstrates our unwavering safety culture and the hard work that our team puts forth on a daily basis.”
Priester’s robust SMS is the foundation of the company’s risk management process, and regularly compiles data and analyzes trends to reduce future risk. This system is monitored by the Priester management team to constantly improve operations and provide the safest possible flight experience.
“The Priester SMS is the cornerstone of our safety process,” said Kurt Humm, vice president of quality for Priester Aviation. “The SMS and the processes that support it are rigorously audited by the IS-BAO process. With the addition of the IS-BAO Stage Three certification, our clients can be sure that safety is our foremost concern.”
