Why PriesterTo be the most trusted operating partner for aircraft owners, flight departments, and clients needing management support and/or charter services.
To maximize stakeholder value by growing the company through organic growth and strategic acquisition of culturally aligned operators.
We recognize that building strong relationships with all stakeholders based on understanding, mutual respect, and mutual support is key to long-term financial and operating success.
We realize that flight safety is about attention to the smallest details. We go beyond industry standards to ensure our flight crews and operations staff exceed training standards, enabling them to provide the safest flight. We constantly review and complete third-party safety audits, putting us in the top percentile of private jet operators.
Our Safety StandardsBeginning as a flight training school in 1945, Priester Aviation has expanded under three generations of family ownership and leadership to become a business that can handle the needs of clients worldwide. But despite our growth, we still treat each client with the individual attention and service that George Priester, our founder, laid out more than 75 years ago. We deliver our legacy daily.
Our HistoryGeorge J. Priester Aviation serves as the larger corporate name for our family of aviation service companies throughout the country. This includes Priester Aviation as its Midwest base, Mayo Aviation as its Rocky Mountain West base, and Hill Private Aviation, its Southeast base. George J. Priester Aviation, named for the company’s founder, will serve as the parent company for future business and expansion initiatives while the three companies retain their individual names for customer services and signage.
